  • I work to understand each client’s unique situation and offer many treatment modalities. I find each of these modalities offers ways to remain centered amid challenges of modern life.
  • Hypnotherapy – One of the most effective holistic modalities I offer. This is a safe, relaxing experience. Hypnosis is a safe technique. It relaxes the brain down into theta, which we go through twice a day, when we go to sleep and when we wake up. This is the brain state in which we can access the subconscious and in which the body has the ability to trigger healing responses.
  • Bypassing the rationalizing, reasoning conscious mind, this process zeros in on the receptive subconscious to integrate new beliefs without judgement. Hypnosis utilizes the power of this part of your mind to create effective, positive change that is long lasting.When invited into a trance state, awareness increases and can be easily directed to begin to express in a healthy way. A 2016 study conducted by Stanford University School of Medicine found changes in three areas of the brain when people are hypnotized.  The University of Quebec, in 2013, found that “ short-term effects of hypnosis (one-two months) and relaxation training were comparable to the effects of short-term drug therapy, and that the long-term outcomes even surpassed the drug therapy in certain instances.”
